Huh. I don’t/didn’t have that reaction to the idea of the slayer power coming from a demon. It feels in keeping with the season’s theme: It’s not about right. It’s not about wrong. It’s about power.
Το that point, that theme is Buffy’s mini-journey this episode. She starts off by wanting her friends to tap into power that has a dark side, and ends by deciding against taking more power that has a dark origin.I don’t love this episode, but that piece makes sense to me.
